Well, I didn't quite make it last week - I was stupidly working on two pages at once, (one for the week as well as quite a time consuming front cover) and of course didn't manage to get either of them quite finished on time! But I have now finished the week 3 one and I will try and catch up during the rest of this fourth week!
This page is based on a selfie I took in front of one part of my (colour coordinated) fabric stash - this is very important to me at the moment as it is the only fabric I have access to, the rest being in storage waiting until I'm able to move out.
I tried to use a limited colour palette to create the central patchwork strip which I think ties in well with the fabric in the photo. I used similar coloured bakers twine for the radiating lines which I attached using the couching method.
I appliqued the selfie lettering from felt and used rubber stencils for the 'fabric stash' lettering.
