This week I have followed this Weekly scrapbook challenge set by my favourite scrapbooker Shimelle (www.shimelle.com). The challenge was pretty open and was to use arrows. I recently added a cute arrow stamp to my rapidly building collection, so I thought this was a perfect challenge to try out.
I have used a photo of one of my Mr Whiskers cat cushions after a weekend craft fair where I was surrounded by my catty creations for several days. Even as I write this several of their bright buttoned eyes are watching me from their temporary storage space on the landing outside my room! The idea for this stitchbook was to record events in my life, so I thought they'd have to be included somewhere!
The main arrows I have used are using my new stamp to direct the eye towards the main photo, but I have also embroidered little arrows onto the pink fabric behind Mr Whiskers to add extra texture.
If this page has made you crave your own Mr Whiskers check out the new arrivals in my Etsy shop!
